1Password icon changed

Hi, recently the 1Password icon changed to a bluish tint all of a sudden. I found some articles stating that it could be because the app is in beta, which it was, but I switched to production and the...

Thanks for confirming that, it appears that you're still on the beta version which is expected. Even if you change the release channel in the app to "Production" you'll remain on the beta until the next time that there's a Production version that has a higher version number than your current beta version.

To manually switch over to the Production version of 1Password for Mac, without having to wait for the next Production update, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that you have a copy of your Emergency Kit and that you're signed into 1Password on another device.
  2. Remove the 1Password app and local data
  3. Install the Production version of 1Password for Mac
