8.12.1 update for iOS 26.2.1 causes severe battery drain

The latest version of 1Password on iOS 26.2.1 is draining my battery with background acitivity.  This was resolved with version 8.12.0 of the application but it looks like version 8.12.1 reintroduced the problem.  Could we get this fixed please?

    I'm sorry that you're seeing higher than usual battery usage from 1Password with iOS 26.2.1. Our developers are currently investigating the issue and I've added your report to the internal work item for the issue so that the team is aware that you're affected as well.

    Since we have an existing thread for the issue here I've closed this thread as a duplicate.
