Hi @Olympian! This sounds like the expected behaviour here - this setting only applies to the 1Password app, and won't affect the browser extension.
If you have any further questions or concerns, let me know 😄

A related issue? Having set Always Show Passwords and Full Credit Card Numbers in V8.10.2 of the Windows desktop app they are not revealed by default in the Firefox app (Manage Security Settings in the Desktop App is set) I did not know about Ctrl R when I discovered this so that isn't the issue.....

I don't believe I did either, but can't be 100% sure.

Hi keithdavis, it's great to hear that it started working by itself - thanks for letting me know! Was this after a restart of the app or your device by any chance?

Well, actually, it started working all by itself.

Hi keithdavis! Before enabling this option, had you previously used
Ctrl + R
to reveal a concealed field in an item? If so, it sounds as if you may be running into a known issue at the moment, where the Always show passwords and full credit card numbers option will do the opposite of what's expected afterCtrl + R
has been used to reveal or conceal a field. You should be able to get things working correctly by using
Ctrl + R
to reveal the concealed field of an item, then disabling and re-enabling the option.ref: dev/core/core#13022
