App Bug (iOS): Can’t properly edit or scroll through a “Secure Note” item that has a lot of text
In the latest 1Password for iOS 8.10.0 81000052, on PRODUCTION channel, if a secure note (or possibly any item with a note) has a lot of text, you can’t edit it properly because it doesn’t allow you to scroll through it. In other words, you’re stuck in one section of the note, and can’t scroll up or down to edit parts not seen on the screen.

Hi all.
There were improvements made in handling Secure Notes in the latest version, 1Password 8.10.4, which was published on April 11th. If you haven't already updated, give it a try. We'll be here if you still need any help with it.

Thanks - is fixed for me with v 8.10.4 which I got today (13th April '23). I can now edit my notes again which is a relief !!!!

Me too.
Glad I can edit the note now, but when I tap edit and then placement of cursor it scrolls all the way to the bottom of a long note, however the cursor does go where you tap it so that part is good.
Now the scrolling need to be fixed after that long scroll to the bottom I have to scroll back to the cursor
If you put the cursor on first attempt at top or middle the screens gonna scroll to bottom.
If you put the cursor at bottom it will scroll right to it.
So almost their it is an improvement.
Just a little more adjusting on the scroll, but the cursor placement seems to be fine. - Former Member
The end of the note is not where I'd expect my cursor to go, I'd expect it to go where I tapped in the note (i.e. where my current view is). Forcing a scroll (which may be numerous swipes) to get back to your previous position, and another tap to actually set my position for edit, is obnoxious.

With todays v 8.10.4, tapping on edit, and tapping again onto the note field, the cursor goes right to the end of a note, from where I can scroll, and edit - thank you!

I have reverted to 1Password 7 on iOS because of this. It makes 1Password 8 unusable for me.
