Are there two different versions of 1Password?

Hello!

I have 1Password 7 installed on my iPhone. There's a thing telling me I'm using an older version of 1Password, and to use the new version of 1Password, first upgrade to a membership, and I'll receive one year free. Then I could migrate my data.

My question is, are there two versions of 1Password like there used to be, the regular download from the 1Password site and the App Store version? When I click the button to upgrade, I'm not sure if the form is part of the app or the 1Password site.

Does that make sense?

    I think I answered my own question. The iOS app can only be downloaded from the App Store (obviously, that's for all apps on iOS), but the MacOS version can only be downloaded from the 1Password website. There is no Mac App Store version.

      You got it! 1Password 8 is the latest version of 1Password and you can download it from the App Store for iOS and from our website for macOS:
