Auto Locking after a few seconds

I see this problem has been stuck here for a while.  I have 1Password for Mac 8.12.2 and can confirm exactly the same symptoms as described in these posts:

  • when I access my Mac mini as a remote desktop (using VNC from Finder) in high performance mode, 1password arbitrarily locks after just a few seconds
  • when i access it with low resolution mode, 1password is ok
  • setting for when to lock seems to make no difference: currently I have auto lock when device locks or sleeps deselected, and lock after idle set to 15 mins

Will there be a fix for this?

    Feels like we've been abandoned here. The silence is deafening.
