Autofill intermittently broken - Honda Finance
Autofill only works occasionally with login.honda.com. I'm using Safari 18.5 with the latest stable build of 1Password (1Password for Mac 8.10.82 (81082029)) on MacOS 15.5. This used to flawlessly....

Hi sffil,
Thank you for confirming that. Based on what you've described, you're experiencing a known issue that appeared in Safari 18.4 and also made its way into Safari 18.5. Apple is currently testing a fix for the issue in Safari Technology Preview, so hopefully that fix will make it into a future update of Safari. In the meantime, the best workaround for when you experience the issue is to duplicate the tab.

Hi Trevor,
It's intermittent but when I click the 1Password icon to autofill, it sometimes doesn't open at all. I need to open the 1Password app and then copy/paste. That said, it works sometimes. I tried just now and it worked for me without issue.

Hi sffil,
Thanks for the additional details. To help me better understand your setup and determine what may be causing the issue, I'd like to ask a couple more questions:
- When the issue occurs, does opening the website in a new tab (right click the tab and select duplicate tab) get things working again?
- Do you make use of multiple profiles in Safari, or the pinned tab feature?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Trevor,
I was just able to reproduce the issue. Yes, duplicating the tab by right click/duplicate fixes the issue and I can login via 1Password. While Safari does have multiple profiles, I only use one. I do not use the pinned tab feature. Thanks.
