Automatically FIll AUTH Code field

Now the new Universal autofill is available this is awesome and could replace the browser addins ... except for loggin into some apps that require 2FA like so

How can I specify the entry that the auth-code field is filled properly?

The form field is coded as:
input type="text" inputmode="tel" pattern="\d*" name="com.siemens.dxa.applications.web.authn.challenging.response2"

Right now the autofill enters username (DAS ID) and Password and imediately submits the form...

My entry in 1password perfectly matches the other 2 fields

1Password Version: 8
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: macOS 12.3.1

    Hi emuell / @sysiphos:

I was able to locate an issue on this, and I see one of our developers has taken a look at this, so hopefully you should see an improvement here sooner rather than later!

Hello, I have exactly the same problem - seems we are working for the same company. With 1p7 I always had the 2nd factor in my clipboard and just needed to cmd-v it into the AUTH Code field. But with 1p8 I have to manually copy the second factor.

Just to add ... any type of browser extension, either 1passwordx or the real extension never filled that field but copied the code to clipboard and let me fill that instead of automatically submitting...
