1 year agoThanks for helping us investigate the autofilling behavior. Based on my tests so far, when the input type is set to "date", 1Password should autofill the date format matching the system date format. Keep us updated on the case. Much appreciated!

Sorry about the delayed reply. I did report the issue internally for our developers to investigate further. I have added you to the tracking list.
Meanwhile, in my opinion, this is the "expected" behavior. Allow to me explain:- When date info is saved in 1Password, attributes are assigned to day, month, and year accordingly, so they can find and match with different formats. Additionally, it also has a default format, which is for situations like this, when the input type="text". This means that the "date" is plain text and 1Password has nothing to match.
When this happens, 1Password needs deeper logic to trace the browser or system date format rather than using its own default date format to cause issues as you reported.
