Bug: Editing an item opens a previously viewed item

After viewing a few items, I’ve seen a few times where editing an item brings up the previously viewed item in the editor. So view A, view B, view C, edit C, and B comes up in edit view. Closing and ...

I’ve had this happen as well but not reliably. Sometimes I’ll go to edit an item and it will bring up the edit screen for an item I viewed several hours prior.
