Bug: Generate Password Default Setting Won’t Save
No matter how many times I change it to Memorable and switch on “save as default,” next time I try to generate a password, it will go back to gobbledygook (or whatever the nonsense one is called). Th...
That was helpful troubleshooting. That actually does work correctly. What doesn’t work is when you use the password generator in the autofill thing. And when I was trying to document the steps just now, it did a new weird thing.
- Open the 1Password autofill in a password field
- It suggests a different type of password
- Click the controller on the bottom right of the box
- Select memorable password, three words, etc.
- Click “use as default"
- Repeat in another password field
- Result: Not a memorable password
This time, it generated the memorable password, but when I clicked on the controller, it changed to a different kind.
