Also, It looks like, 1P will enter my user name, but it doesn't enter my password before clicking the log-in button.

    Hi Simon.......

Sure… sorry, I thought that was in a footer.

I'm on 1Password for Mac 8.11.12 on a M1 MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.7.1 and Safari v26.0.1 and 1P for Safari 8.11.12.27.

      Hi rcornish,

Thanks for sharing those details! I can confirm the same behavior as you in Safari. It looks like with Safari, it fills in just the username and tries to submit it with no password. I do have a potential workaround while the team looks into this.

If you open the 1Password extension in Safari and go to the Excel Forum item, click the three vertical dots next to Open & Fill, then turn off Don't sign in automatically

You will need to click the username and password field on Excel Forum to fill them, but it will ensure that 1Password doesn't log you in prematurely.

Please report back if that helps for now!

    Hi rcornish,

Could you please share your operating system and browser versions, as well as which version of the 1Password app and extension you're using? And what happens when you visit that page – does 1Password not suggest a login when you click into the username field and password fields or something else? Thanks!
