It has a barcode which I scan at a machine to check out books.
Are you scanning this from 1Password? I wonder if you might benefit from a similar ability to our recent updates to have a QR for Wi-Fi, but in your case, displaying a membership QR/Barcode, or even image if its a unique barcode graphic.
