Feature request: Tag movement, clearing all memory.
I'll start by saying that I happily use 1Password because, after my own security tests, I found it to be more secure than all other password managers. I'll explain why later, but there's still room f...

4 months agoHi MeStesso,
Thanks for that feedback! I've filed this as three separate feature requests: Memory clearing, tag movement, and the inability to edit/delete tags on Android and the web app. These will all be reviewed by the 1Password Product team. I appreciate you taking the time to share this.

It's good that you submitted these requests. But since moving the tags was requested several years ago, as I read in a similar post, but hasn't been done yet, I seriously doubt it will be considered.
I'm curious to know why it's not being done? Is there something preventing it? It would be great if the programmers could explain why such a useful feature isn't being done, so we can understand.
Thank you so much :-)- 1P_Dave4 months ago

Thanks again for the feedback! Which features are implemented (and when) depends on a variety of factors that include: consideration for our existing product roadmap and planned features, urgent bug fixes that need to be prioritized over feature requests, available development resources, other customer feedback/requests, and more.
All feedback is considered and prioritized carefully and the team works to implement features and fixes as quickly as possible.
Empty all memory (including "non-password" fields) when the database is locked.
Are you able to tell us a little more about this by sending an email to support@1Password.com ? Our team would love to learn more about what information you're seeing in memory, how and when, after locking 1Password for Windows.
