Feature Request: Unlock 1Password for Mac using PIN or hardware key

Please consider adding the ability to unlock 1password using some sort of PIN or a short alphanumeric password. It’s useful for devices without biometric authentication capabilities.

In alternative, it would be useful to be able to unlock 1Password with hardware keys.

    Thank you for the suggestions! We recently added PIN unlock to the mobile apps: Use your device passcode to unlock 1Password for iOS

    While I can't promise anything, I've passed along your suggestion for the desktop app. In the meantime, you can create a strong yet easy to enter password using this guide: How to choose a good 1Password account password

    In alternative, it would be useful to be able to unlock 1Password with hardware keys.
