Firefox: Protected folder access blocked

Thanks for reaching out! The 1Password desktop app and 1Password in the browser integrate together, and communicate with each other, in order to lock and unlock at the same time. To better understand the situation:

1. Can you tell me why your administrator or IT team implemented this policy? 
2. If you don't allow access, then does the browser extension and the desktop app lock and unlock at the same time? Or do you have to lock and unlock each individually? 
3. If you temporarily remove the 1Password browser extension from Firefox, do you still see the message? (Make sure that you're signed into 1Password on another device before doing this to avoid being locked out.)
