I have a similar issue. I am installing a new computer and trying to sign in to my Google account, and it asks to scan a QR code for the passcode. The passcode is stored in 1pass, but there is no button or menu item for passcode scanning.
Does 1pass support it at all?

7 days agoWelcome to the community! You would need to scan the QR code using the camera app on another mobile or tablet device where the 1Password app is installed.
Are you setting up a Chromebook? Or signing into your Google account in the browser on a Windows PC or Mac?

I am setting Windows on my laptop and am trying to login into my google account in Chrome.
I have tried to scan the QR code from my phone (Android) camera app as well, but it asked me if I would like to open the result in a browser (Chrome, Dolphin) or another app (I forgot which). I have 1password installed on my phone, but it didn't gave me an option to choose it.

Thanks for the reply. Try these steps:
- Open Chrome.
- Navigate to this page by copying and pasting the following into Chrome's address bar and then pressing Enter: chrome://settings/syncSetup
- Scroll down to the "Sign in to Chrome when you sign in to other Google services" setting and then choose "Sign In" from the dropdown menu.
- Install 1Password in Chrome and sign into your account: Install 1Password for Chrome
- Then, go to https://accounts.google.com/ and sign in using your passkey using these steps: Save and sign in with passkeys in your browser
I hope that helps.-Dave

Thanks for the descriptive answer.
Do you know what that QR code is used for by Google, then?
