How can I change shortcuts in Quick Access.

In the Quick Access window I need to change the shortcut to copy the One-Time-Password. The Ctrl-Alt-C conflicts with my Essential PIM app. The E-PIM grabs the shortcut first. I prefer to leave the E-PIM shortcut as is.

In the Settings > General area some shortcuts are changeable. Why not more?

1Password Version: 8.10.56

OS Version: Windows 10 Latest

  • Oh sorry Dave, I misunderstood this!
I would like to change the shortcut that opens/shows quick access.

Thank you for reaching out. Can you clarify your request a little further? The original poster of this thread asked for the ability to change the keyboard shortcut for copying an item's one-time password from Quick Access from Command-Option-C to something else. The ability to change this specific shortcut has never existed in the 1Password for Mac desktop app.

Which shortcut are you looking to change? I look forward to hearing from you.

  • I was using 1Password in Debian KDE one week ago and I found the option to change the shortcut. I reinstalled it and now I can't this option any more. Why? Ctrl + Shift + Space doesn't work in Debian 12 KDE.

  • I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks again for the feedback and suggestion. 🙂

Thanks for the info. I may be able to do that.... Reluctantly

  • Hello DoctorBrown! 👋

Thank you for the feedback! There isn't currently a way to change keyboard shortcuts for Quick Access and, while I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to add such functionality to 1Password in the future.

For the time being, changing the shortcut for the other app would be the best option if possible.
