4 years agoHow do I turn-off 1Password 2-Factor Auth so I can "re-sync" it for a site?
Hi,
I set up 2-factor on Twitter, but when I tried logging back in with it on a different machine, it doesn't accept the 2F code gen'd in 1Password. I've disabled 2F in Twitter now and want to go back to square one, rescanning the QR code etc., but I can't find any way to remove the 1F code generator in my 1Password Twitter entry so I can use the code scanner again. There should be topic for this in 1Password help, but my search in 1Password's Help menu brings up only Apple's articles on 2F authentication. Pretty frustrating. Thanks for the assist.

Oh! I have another field for a "one-time password" that Twitter generates for emergency lock-outs, and I mistook the 2F field for that one! Thank you!

Hi @_beowulf:
You can remove the one-time password from the item by editing the item in 1Password for Mac, and then selecting the delete icon next to the one-time password row:
