I upgraded to 1Password 8 on my Mac and it is not recognising my master password. 1Password 7 does

I upgraded to 1Password 8 on my mac this morning but when I tried to login it doesn't recognise my master password. The same password works fine to access 1Password 7 on the Mac, and on 1Password ...
