Identities never auto fill anymore

Hi, I have 2 identities, and just created a new test one, and they used to work well in autofill (command - backslash shortcut) the same way logins do.  It would fill out Name, address, etc. 

For a long time now, they haven't worked.  If I choose one, instead of filling, it just opens in a popup. 

It's annoying enough that I will abandon the website rather than cut and paste all my details again. 

Any help appreciated.   I can send on the page structure JSON for an example if you tell me how to do that.

    Hi rockfishsoup​! Thanks for writing in. I'm sorry your identity items haven't been filling as expected.

    Could you share a few additional details to help figure out what may be happening here?

    • Which browser/s have you seen this behaviour with? Are there any where it works as expected?
    • Can you still fill logins with the shortcut?
    • What popup are you seeing? Could you include a screenshot with any personal information removed?
    • If you select an identity item from the suggestion below the field with your mouse, or click Autofill next to an identity in the browser extension window can you fill the information?
