In 1Password Version 8.7.3 on Mac I get too many duplicates and I cannot display just one vault

You should not be seeing all archived entries and shared at the same time. To get 1Password to display a single vault try creating a collection. Use collections to create custom groups of vaults. I use this feature to group personal, work, etc.
