Install on 2022 Windows Server

When attempting to install 1pass "run as administrator". I get the error message "1Password was unable to complete installation and will roll back any changes". But the application installs and I can login without issue. Below is the setup log. I have no antivirus installed for troubleshooting purposes. Is it safe to ignore the error? I wasn't sure if this was because it was a Server OS vs Desktop OS.

Hi @alex11585, thanks for this question. 'm happy to help with your inquiry. 👋

This is a bit puzzling - it almost looks like there might have been a previous instance of 1Password installed on this device. Does that make any sense, given your knowledge of the device?

Ultimately, we of course judge by results. So if the app is working, great! But to provide a little background information: the permission denied error is something that is typically caused by either:

    1. An antivirus, antimalware, or endpoint protection app that doesn't allow 1Password to install,
    2. Prohibitive permission settings on the directory in question (less common, given where the app installs), or
    3. In some cases the operating system itself will block changes to certain directories when there's an important update + restart cycle that needs to happen.

If you'd like us to investigate further to be sure, feel free to send our team a message at support+windows@1Password.com, and we can help verify over that channel whether your installation is looking good, or whether there are any more subtle issues that might need to be addressed. We're here for you!
