Can you double-check that you've turned the following option off:
- Open and unlock 1Password for Windows.
- Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
- Turn off "Open 1Password on startup".
If that still doesn't work then how did you install the 1Password app? Using the MSIX installer? The Microsoft Store? Are you using Windows 11 or Windows 10?
Well, that doesn't solve my issue. When I turn this off, 1Password does not load on boot which is not what I want. I want it to load locked in the background.
It sounds like you may have run into a bug that our development team is tracking. Could you try https://support.1password.com/collections/?ios using 1Password for iOS, does that allow for all of your collections to appear for selection in focus filter?
Yes, that worked.
Thank you for the feedback, I've passed along your feature request to our team internally.
That's what you're telling users since several years now.
Are you referring to the inline menu in Safari
Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I think the expected behavior from my side would be, that the extension remembers when you've collapsed it in one field for the current web page.
In general, it's good that it pops-up. But when you fill in a form on a new page and you don't want the popup to appear because it's simply not needed or wanted in that specific situation, you collapse it. But with every new field it pops up again. The only way is then to go deep into the menu and deactivate it for every page then.
You get my point?

23 days agoThank you for the reply. If you're using Windows 10 and the MSIX installer for 1Password then you might be running into a startup issue that has been resolved in 1Password version 8.11.22 and newer. Please update to the latest version: How to keep 1Password up to date
If you still see the issue then let me know what version of Windows you're using and which installer you used to install 1Password on your Windows PC.

Are you able to share a webpage where you're seeing this behaviour? If I dismiss the suggestion in a field then I don't see it automatically appear when clicking into a different field on our test website until after I refresh or leave the page: https://autofill.me/form/identity-simple
