limiting search
I don't see how you limit a search to just the Personal vault. There must be a way, but I can't find it.
I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.10.64 (81064007)
Select Personal in the sidebar and press Command F or add this string prior to your search `=vault:Employee` for the Employee vault. Substitute Employee for the name of your vault either Personal or Private.

or better yet - have a default search setting

that is very cumbersome...why not a drop down to select all or a single vault? otherwise, I see duplicate results if an item is in more than one vault

If you see items in more than one vault it sounds as if the search string if not right. Make sure you selected the appropriate vault in the sidebar.

I agree with horatio888. The Command-F method works, but is cumbersome. Selecting the appropriate vault does nothing (at least in 1Password for Mac 8.10.64 (81064007)). A search still returns items from all vaults.

That works. Thank you! But I'm kind of surprised there isn't something in the interface, besides a keyboard command, to accomplish this.
