Login Link Opens Second Login List Window

After I navigate to one of my logins, and click on the website login link, it opens another Login list window instead to the desired website. After navigating to the desired login again, the website link works correctly. It's aggravating to have to do it twice every time. Any ideas?

Everything seems to be working fine with the new version 8. I like the new features too. Thanks for your help.

I'm at 7.9.6, and when I check for updates, it says I am up to date. After checking, I see that 8 is out there, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

    Hi @Jacketfan:

Thanks for the additional screenshots. This is something that we're aware of with 1Password 7, but haven't seen an issue like this with 1Password 8. If you give 1Password 8 a try, does that improve your state of play?

When I click on the website link in the original window, it goes away, and another opens over to the right side of the screen. When I click on the website link in the new window, it works as expected.

  • Hi @Jacketfan,

Sorry to hear about this, it certainly doesn't sound like expected behaviour. To confirm, this happens when you click the website in your login item? If possible, would you be able to share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

This will help me better understand the situation so we can find a solution! Please be careful not to include any private information.

Looking forward to your reply. 🙂
