Mac App Store??

How, after 3 years, is 1Password 8 still not on the Mac App Store? It's extremely frustrating and I really don't get it. A lot of users have already explained why having it on the Mac App Store would be extremely useful (if not necessary in certain environments).

    Is there any chance of it ever making it on to the Mac App Store? Or should I just cut my loses at this point and find a different solution.

      I don't have any plans to share at this time. We're currently rolling out updates to the web app at 1Password.com to have it more closely align with the desktop app in terms of user experience and performance. The web app, along with 1Password for Safari from the Mac App Store, might be a solution for some of your users.

    Thanks for checking back in! 1Password 8 for Mac still isn’t available through the Mac App Store. The best way to get it is by downloading directly from our website: https://1password.com/downloads

    I shared your use cases with the team when you posted last and I'll let the team know that you'd still like to see 1Password for Mac be available in the Mac App Store in the future.

    1Password for Safari is available in the Mac App Store and you can deploy that to your users if you've limited apps on their devices to just apps available in the store. For other functionality such as item editing, the web app at 1Password.com is also available in the browser.
