Hi @stevehogdahl:

We've recently made some improvements in 1Password 8.9.4 that should prevent this from occurring in the future. To resolve this for any existing items, look through your Login items for an item with your browser linked. It'll look something like this:

Edit that item, and remove the link to your browser, and that should improve your state of play. Let me know.
