missing passwords in 1password

I opened my one Password today on my iphone using my Face ID which is how I usually do it. It had a different interface. It asked me where my information was. I clicked on iCloud which was not correct now. I only have 12 entries where as previously I had more than 200. What has happened? i have logged out but it wont let me log in - i am using the QR code for some of the details

can you help?

when I try to login and add an extra account using My Emergency login (Login name, email, pword, master key) it says I have it wrong, but I’m copying it from the QR code so I can’t see why it’s wrong.

In order for one of the mods to help you further you'd probably have to provide some more details - to me it sounds like an older version of 1Password (as the newer releases are inherently 1Password Cloud storage and no longer 'local/iCloud/Dropbox'-capable?)

hello Tom, yes I had the old version of one, Password. Seems like I might’ve had two copies because the one that’s showing now has 12 events saved where is mine had 200 or more.

Hi drcrwiles, thanks for writing in. I'm sorry there's been an issue accessing your saved items. And thanks for the assist Tom, I suspect you're on the right path regarding an older version.

As you've both mentioned it sounds like you might have the older and newer version of 1Password for iOS active on your device, or two accounts that unlock separately. In order to get to the bottom of this I would suggest writing into our support team as we may need diagnostics from your device, or some additional details about your accounts. You can get in contact with the support team from our support site, or by sending a message to support@1password.com with the details you shared here.

        Thanks again!
