New App vs Update

Why is it always a new app instead of a new version like other apps? Always trips me up, and I have to change auto fill settings on iPhone to use the newer app.

    Hi @Chiquitanita:

    Because 1Password 8 for iOS doesn't support standalone vaults, we didn't want to take away functionality from anyone. This necessitated a separate app to keep their data and experience intact.

    With that said, I'm hopeful this will be the last time we have to release a new version of the 1Password app.
