newest update 1Password for Mac 8.12.8 broke language support of categories

Hi there,

the newest update broke locale language settings of categories. It doesn't matter what language I choose within the app - 1PW only shows categories in English.

With iOS it is working as it should.

    Hello everybody,

    since today, on MacOS and Windows 11 in the german client all categories are labeled in english. The rest of the sidebar is labeled correctly in my native language (german).

    Version 8.12.8

    Browser Entension is OK, also the client on Android.

    Is this by intent or is it a bug?

      Hi LotharSchaberg​, thanks for taking the time to report this!

      It looks as if you're running into a known issue at the moment where categories in the sidebar are displayed in English, rather than the language the app is set to.

      I've added your report to our internal tracker. I don't yet have a timeline for when this will be resolved, and I apologise for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.

    Good catch! I can reproduce this as well and have filed a bug. I'll report back when it's fixed.
