Non-English Keyboard Shortcuts in 1Password8

After downloading 1Password8 I can't configure the keyboard shortcuts as I used to with the previous versions.
When I try to create my own custom shortcuts it put's in different characters than typed.

I.e. I'm trying to use cmd+$ on my Danish keyboard, but it translates to cmd+< in 1Password.

I have tried switching my Mac's keyboard layout to American to see if that was the problem, but that's not the case.

Please fix!

1Password Version: 8.7.0
Extension Version: 2.3.3

    Hi Jack_P_1P

Yes it seems that all other keyboard shortcuts (that isn't $ or <) work. Thank you for looking into it.

    Hi krislinus:

Thanks for letting us know about this. We're actively investigating trouble with the two specific keys you're seeing swap. If you try another keyboard shortcut (that isn't $ or <), does that improve your state of play? Let me know!
