Thank you for your reply.
You mentioned the Use passkey button took you to
https://passkeys.directory/details/microsoft
. From the screenshot you shared, the link appears aspasskeys.directory/details/microsoft-personal/
. While both are incorrect links, I'd like to understand why you are directed to those links.Does your Microsoft Login item have multiple website URLs? If you created a new Login item and added a random password with the
https://www.office.com
website URL, does it take you to the correct webpage? The Sign in to your Microsoft account Advanced Security Options is a link that should navigate you directly to add a passkey to your Microsoft account. Here's a screenshot for reference for when you click that link and sign in:

Hi - thanks for the response - no idea on other sites - thought i would start/learn on a safe one that cant go wrong...:)
when i click on the *Use passkey * button it takes me to "https://passkeys.directory/details/microsoft"
when i clicked on yr link it took me to https://passkeys.directory/details/microsoft-account - as you had expected - thanksdont know how or why or how to change or troubleshoot that
Just aas FYI
Once in the correct page it says - Sign in to your Microsoft account Advanced Security Options for personal accounts, or MyAccount Security info for work or school accounts. This options does not exist in my Personal account so i went to "Microsoft Account"-> Security-> Manage how i sign in->Add a new way to sign in.....
That seemed to work - suspect MS has changed its menues since the instructions were done... - 1P_Evon

Hello, Bones. Thank you for writing in.
I tested this but haven't been able to recreate the same behaviour. The Use passkey button for https://www.office.com directed me to the following page: https://passkeys.directory/details/microsoft-account.
Do you experience issues with the Use passkey button on different Login items?
