I have tried this in Chrome and Brave Browsers

UPDATE: I am guessing this just doesn't work on phones because it doesn't work on my iPhone either. It doesn't offer 1Password to fill in the email field and I get a similar prompt if I complete that by copy paste.
Its a bit annoying given the nagging messages about using passkeys

It's 2025.
I have a new Google Pixel 9 Pro and use 1Password.
When I try to log in to the Twitter app, I see a 1Password prompt "Use your saved password for X." I select it. A moment later, I see an Android (not 1Password) dialogue box "No passkeys are available"
In the system settings, 1Password is set as the preferred service for passwords, passkeys and accounts.
Other apps have been unreliable in allowing 1Password to smoothly provide my account details and OTPs. As a new Android user, I'm unsure if Android is the issue or if the 1Password app is.- Trevor_1P5 months ago

I'm sorry that your experience with 1Password on your Pixel 9 Pro hasn't gone as smoothly as expected so far. I'd definitely like to further look into that for you. To do so, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device:
Send a diagnostics report (Android)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

Hey!
PBP-62625-533
After a few more days of usage, I can report that the X application specifically keeps looking at my Android device for a passkey (and doesn't try 1Password), which returns the error: "No passkeys are available".
Other apps seem to retrieve my OTPs from 1Password without issue, but 1Password tends to display them as a notification, requiring me to read and remember the OTP before the notification disappears. If I don't, I end up having to switch apps, navigate to 1Password to the item I want, copy the OTP, and then switch back.
