Password update
I created a login in 1Password. It was created in June 2024. Now on checking it’s showing different details for me and to my wife for the same account. The item is in the same folder which is shared ...

I forgot to share additional information. When I opened the item where my wife was viewing correct data, and then closed it not by saving without making any changes the information got updated.
The date was different. We were looking at the same item from the same location.

Hey 1P_Dave
Same data appeared only after I opened the item for edit and then closed it. This should not be the case.

Thanks for the reply, I'll need more information to better understand what might have happened. When the item showed a different dates for you and your wife:
- Who saw the correct version of the item? You or your wife?
- Did you both see the correct version of the item when you logged in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
- Which device did you use to edit the item to fix it? Did you use the 1Password app on that device or 1Password.com?
- Have you seen this issue before? Can you reproduce it again?
I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave

I think you’re confused.
- My wife was seeing the correct version.
- we normally don’t login into the browser. We work through the app only.
- It showed me the wrong version on android and iPhone. Now I clicked on edit and it started showing me the correct version. So I moved to home and was able to see the correct version. I didn’t use the browser.
- I’ve not seen this issue before. It was not something that I created which I can reproduce it. If something like this happens again I’ll try and take a screenshot. I’ll try taking photo since screenshots would happen.
