Pay with PayPal Popup & Passkeys
When I log into PayPal.com, my passkey works as expected. But...
I'm making a purchase through another website and it opens a PayPal popup window to complete the purchase. The passkey prompt appears, and then is replaced by the Safari Passkey prompt. If I dismiss the Safari prompt, the 1Password prompt doesn't do anything.
Why are we overcomplicating this process by trying to replace the system prompt? It seems to cause so many issues even beyond just this example that's fully broken.

Unfortunately they do compete, but you will have to select one or the other. https://support.1password.com/disable-browser-password-manager/?mac

As I noted, this is only an issue on this website. I have the built in password manager disabled - what is showing is the QR/security key prompt

Ah seems like a known issue apparently with a few sites/users. https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/safari-scan-qr-code-or-use-security-key-prompt-when-using-a-passkey/164838
