Question - item deletion
Is it possible to delete all your passwords and just start all over again?

Hi huskym1025! Thanks for writing in.
You can make bulk actions on items, including deletion, from the 1Password apps. I find this is easiest from the desktop apps. That said, could you share a bit more about why you're interested in deleting all your items? There might be another option that doesn't involve deleting data.
Thanks again!

My passwords were imported in 1password from last pass. I never did any maintenance on my passwords in last pass. So, I am using 1 password which I'm sure has a lot of passwords that I don't use any more. Also, starting in January 1, 2026. I want to get into the habit of changing all my password yearly. If you know of a better way to handle my messed up password list in 1 password. Please share. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that context huskym1025!
So from what you've described deleting and starting over is an option, but maybe not where I'd start. As a similar but less permanent option you could consider archiving your items instead. Archived items won't appear in searches, or be suggested for filling, but will remain accessible to you should you need any of that saved information in the future.
Another option is to keep the items as is, but do a rolling update as you use your items. For example, if you're logging into xyz website you take a moment to check if you have a corresponding item, then go through the process of updating your password on xyz website, as well as in 1Password. This could leave you in a good spot for your new year password goals.
Let me know if I can help with or clarify any of the above. Thanks!
