Seems like Mac keychain pop up blocks the 1Password dialog on mac
I have a MacBook Air m1 fully updated with Sequoia. I have 1Password for Mac installed and connected it to the Safari browser.
What often happens is if I place my cursor in the ID field on a page the keychain pop up blocks the 1Password dialog from view. If I tap into the password field first it’s ok because there’s nothing below that.
I could have sworn that I had autofill setup correctly and 1P set as my default. But now I am not sure.
I’ve seen some webpages talking about disabling the inline browser or something but I think with sequoia and the most recent 1P that the results are not exactly right on how to handle.
I’ll try to add more info as I can think about it but any help you all can provide is appreciated.

Ahhhhh I see. Ok. I think with the changes I was able to make I’ve got things operating just as I want them.

Thank you for linking to the other thread. The "inline menu" is the menu that appears below a username or password field on a webpage and contains login suggestions:
Clicking on a login suggestion from the inline menu will fill that login into the webpage that you're on.

Hi Dave and thank you. I misspoke when I said "inline browser". I should have said "inline menu". Saw things many places using this term, including other chats here on the community. for example:

Since last night I think I realized that the menu referenced is that which you can get when you place your cursor in an ID field and right click. Like this?

Hello jbamberger21! 👋
I'm happy that you were able to get things resolved. For future reference, this page will show you how to turn off the built-in password manager:
But what is meant by whatever or wherever the “inline browser” setting is?
Can you tell me a little more about what you're referring to? Is there an article that you can link me to or a screenshot that you can post to show me where you saw this referenced? This will help me to advise further. 🙂

Ok, I figured how to turn off the autofill stuff in safari settings so I can tap in either id or password field and select the 1Password item I want.
But what is meant by whatever or wherever the “inline browser” setting is? I don’t see it anywhere but I’m just curious at this point as with safari autofill deselected I think it all operates fine for me
