SOLVED: Had ver 7, said in app get 1 year free upgrading to 8. Didn't get it!

On my iPhone I have version 7 since many years. In app it said: Upgrade to ver 8 and get 1 free year (personal license). When I did I got message "Promocode not valid" and ended up with a "14 day trial". Any one else had the same problem, and if fixed how?

    Contacting support solved the issue.

      Same issue here, but I've tried to contact support 3 times since Dec 19.  I have 3 support tickets and a 30 minute chat with an AI agent who missed my request to do the upgrade on the support ticket.  While i have received three emails acknowledging the support requests I haven't yet been contacted by a live support person.
