Special characters selection / new password defaults

I wonder if it's possible to set a default for new passwords, e. g. type, length and which character class should always be included?! Further today it (again) happened to me that I had to change ...

Hey @verboese:

It's definitely possible to set a default for suggested passwords though it's currently not possible to select which special characters are used. If you select Smart Password for Type (Password Generator settings), 1Password will suggest a password that fits the requirements for the site. To set a default for suggested passwords:

  1. Open a browser window.
  2. Click on the 1Password icon located in the browser's toolbar.
  3. Click on the key icon.
  4. Change the Password Generator "recipe" to your preference(s).
  5. At the bottom, turn on "Use as default for suggestions".
