STand Alone Backups/Recovery/Migration
I have 1Password 8 having had stand alone versions of 1P going back a while. I'm used to seeing a local copy of the password listings and being able to initiate a backup when needed. (e.g. when I migrate between Macs).
How do I do that now apart from using the MacOS migration asst ? What do I do if all goes belly up and I'm without access to the current Mac ? Yes, I can make sure I have a backup of the whole drive and work from there, but where do I look and what do I look for ?
I have a secret key etc but is the relevant data only available on line ?

Generally speaking, I always recommend pulling in a new copy of your data on 1Password.com and not working with a something like a Time Machine or Migration Assistant.
The Secret Key is 1/2 the encryption to your account. You need it along with your password to decrypt your data.
Before starting verify all of your data is on 1Password.com and then on the new device sign into your account. Everything on 1Password.com will be pulled down to the new device.
