Start 1Password

 

Hello

 

Since yesterday, I’ve had to enter my master password every time I launch 1Password. That can’t be right 😒

Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200.8655)
Firefox browser extension, version 151.

Until now, I would launch 1Password either in the browser or on the desktop.And then Windows Hello would pop up. Unfortunately, that no longer happens.

I’d appreciate some help.

    Hi schweiwi​, thanks for posting! I'm sorry to hear that you're having to enter your account password each time you unlock, instead of using Windows Hello.

    To confirm my understanding:

    • Is this happening when you unlock the browser extension, the desktop app, or both?
    • Are you only being prompted for your account password, or does a Windows Hello prompt appear after you enter your account password?
    • Could you share a screenshot of your current Unlock and Windows Hello settings in the 1Password desktop app under Settings > Security? Make sure to conceal any private information before posting any screenshots here.
