I'm sorry for the frustration. This is an older thread and we've since added an option to turn off automatic submission when using Universal Autofill:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Click on General.
  5. Scroll down and deselect "Submit automatically with Universal Autofill”.
