Strange visual for autofill floating box on Android 15
Hi!
I just got the update to Android 15 on my smartphone, a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra one, and I think the floating autofill box is quite strange, since it's cutting the icons on the left side.
Do you know how I can fix that? I don't know if the problem is the app, the Motorola flavor of Android or a combination of both.
Thanks!

I usually use Firefox.
Yes, it happens in all apps and websites.
Here is the website you mentioned on Chrome with GBoard and an auto-fill that I added to test.
Here is Firefox with Gboard before I added the auto-fill suggestion. You can see when there is just one item, this item is centralized correctly. The problem happens with more than one item.
Here is Firefox with Gboard after I added the auto-fill item.
Here is Firefox with SwiftKey without the auto-fill item.
It seems to me that it can't centralize correctly when there are more than one item.
About being round or square, I think that can be related to out-of-the-box customizations that Motorola does.

Thanks for trying that out and reporting back mhalano.

I think you're right here. If it is a visual modification from Motorola, we're likely limited in what can be changed on our end to fix it, though I can still flag this with the team. You could also consider reaching out to the Motorola team to let them know about this issue.
If you're not set on having autofill suggestions below fields, you can check if having the suggestions on the keyboard works better for you:
- Open and unlock 1Password.
- Tap the account or collection icon.
- Select Settings > Autofill.
- Tap "Display Autofill prompts" then select "Above supported keyboards".
Let us know how that goes, and thanks again!

I will use the prompt above keyboard then, for now, at least. I hope you can center the elements. Maybe there are other vendors using a round box instead of a rectangular one.

Hi mhalano! Thanks for writing in.
That's an odd one, I haven't seen this behaviour before. The expected appearance would be a rectangular box with rounded corners. From a quick test, I wasn't able to duplicate your example which leads me to believe it may be some fluke of SwiftKey, the browser, and the device/OS. Here's what I saw:
I'd like to ask a few questions to help determine what might be causing this:
- Which browser are you using?
- Does this happen in all apps and websites?
- If you don't have a login for a site/app, so only "Open 1Password" appears, do you see the same cut corners?
- You can check on our testing site - https://autofill.me/form/login-simple
- If you have another on-screen keyboard installed, such as Gboard, do you see the same behaviour if you switch from SwiftKey?
Thanks again!
