Subscription payments with Indian cards and account freezing

hi,

I started my free trial with 1Password last week, and it ends on 30th November. I’ve already added my payment details on the 1Password website, and the paid subscription is supposed to start once the trial ends.

However, I’m unsure whether the payment will go through correctly. I’m from India, and Indian cards normally require CVV entry and SMS OTP verification. None of that was requested during setup, so I’m not sure if the payment would work correctly

  1. Is there any way to confirm that the payment method will work, or to trigger the billing now itself so I can verify if it works?
  2. Also, if the payment fails and my account gets frozen:
    • Will I still be able to access the app and my data?
    • How long will my data remain accessible?
    • Can I export my data while the account is frozen?
  3. And finally, is it possible to switch from a direct 1Password subscription to an in-app subscription through my Apple account?
