There is NO export option... please help

I have spent waaay too much time trying to export data 1) from both PM 7 and PW 8 apps on my mac (os12 and os13), 2) using both chrome and firefox extensions, and 3) directly on 1pw web sites.

there is NO export option anywhere. repeat, no export option anywhere. dear lord, lol, please help. thanks.

    Hello keith305​! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're running into trouble when exporting. First, the browser extension and 1Password.com web app do not have the ability to export your data. Nor do any of the mobile apps. You'll need the 1Password desktop app (on Mac, Windows, or Linux) installed in order to export your data: 


    With the desktop app, you can export your items by following the steps in this guide: How to export your data from the 1Password desktop app

    If you still don't see the export option in the desktop app then can you post a screenshot of what you do see? I look forward to hearing from you.
