TouchID not working on Macbook Pro M3

I am having the exact same problem on a brand new iMac M3.

OS Version: Sonoma 14.5
1Password for Mac 8.10.36

Tried:
(1) Shutting down Mac completely. Turning it back on
(2) Confirmed that TouchID works to log into Mac system
(3) Went to System Settings > Touch ID and deselected every option before turning all back on
(4) Went to 1Password Security options and turned TouchID off and then back on

Nothing works. Please fix this bug!
