Trying to log in with a new account but all I see is a field to enter password.

We can't setup a new account or attempt to login with a new account. When the app opens it's just wants a password.

How do we get this working?

    You can add or Sign out of 1Password through Manage Accounts by following that guide.

    I have the same problem. The 1Password 8 Windows app is locked. Please send me the instructions to reset the local database. There is nothing there to keep. Windows 10. 1Password 8 is pointed to the Our Family account for REDACTED. That account has been permanently deleted in 1Password. I am a family organizer in the new family account. Thank you very much.

    It sounds as if the 1Password app is locked, which would prohibit adding an account until the app is unlocked. To add an additional account, you'll want to unlock 1Password first. If you've forgotten the password, we can provide you with steps to reset the local database, which will allow you to add an account.

    āš ļø Be warned this will irrevocably delete any previous data on this device. If you have a membership, I'd suggest double-checking to make sure all of your data is in your account. If you have a 3rd party sync configured, you'll want to take appropriate safeguards for your data.
