Unconceal concealed fields when editing in 1Password 8

When viewing entries in 1Password 8, there's a Settings switch that allows unconcealing concealed fields by default. You can also use a keyboard shortcut to toggle a field between concealed and unconcealed. But the setting doesn't work when editing a concealed field. Apparently the only way to see an existing concealed value is to try to edit it. I was able to see concealed field values by default when editing in 1Password 7. Are there any plans to restore this capability?

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our developers have released a fix for the issue in the latest version of 1Password:

Concealed fields (like password and credit card) are now shown in edit mode when “Always show passwords and full credit card numbers” is turned on in Settings > Security.

Please update to version 8.10.58 or later: How to keep 1Password up to date

Hello @Miker417, thanks for your message and reporting this behaviour with unconcealed passwords in 1Password 8, versus the same in v7.

This issue is currently being tracked internally and I've included your report there. I don't have a timeframe for a fix, but you can keep an eye out for updates on our release notes page.

Thanks again and have a great day!
