URGENT! Lost access to 1password AT ALL
Hello!
Recently I was changing passwords everywhere and in 1password as well, but buy accident I didn't save newly created password
I don't have anyone in my team who can restore my account and I didn't create recovery codes
I have any data to prove that I am the real owner of account (Secret key, bank card data, other info)
Let me know what steps I can do to restore the account
Thank you,
George
Hello 100brains! 👋
I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues with accessing your 1Password account. 1Password's secure design means that your account password and Secret Key are never transmitted to us and we don't have the ability to recover your account for you even if you prove ownership of the account. All of your information is end-to-end encrypted to prevent us from even accessing it.
Do you have any devices that are still signed in at the moment? If you do, you can locate your sign in information there. Search for a 1Password Account item in your vault. You should see your 1Password account password there.
Try older passwords. If that doesn't work, here is a guide on what might help if you have forgotten your account password: If you forgot your account password or you can't unlock 1Password
If that still doesn't help then please send an email to support@1Password.com so that the team can help further.

Hello 1P_Dave and thank you for the answer!
I did try everything you mentioned above, as well as contacting support via email. First response was that 1pass team is not able to restore access due to rules and policy, but for me it's an awkward because 1pass team has all options for that (I guess). In other case if I not able to get needed password, does it mean I lost all passwords forever?

I'm sorry that you've been unable to access your 1Password account. All of the information in your 1Password account is end-to-end encrypted and we don't have the ability to restore access to your account from your end. It's technically impossible due to the encryption used. Only you can unlock 1Password by entering your account password or by using a recovery method if it's available such as a recovery code.
I see that one of my colleagues just sent you another email, please continue the conversation there. I'll close this thread to prevent having the conversation in two places at once.
